WELCOME TO THE STUDENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT.

We are responsible for a myriad of services across the District including Special Education, Section 504, Foster Care Point of Contact, McKinney-Vento, District Nurse, Talented and Gifted (TAG), Testing Coordination, Title I, Title IX, and Youth Transition Program (YTP). 

Our Mission: Work as a collaborative, interdependent team in order to provide student support services that promote the development of the whole student from entry to progress to completion, while removing barriers for students of all abilities and ages, and enabling them to develop and apply the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and values necessary to realize their maximum potential.

Hello, Marcola School District students and families!

I hope this message finds you all well and safe, having enjoyed a fun and healthy summer. I am ready for an awesome school year, and so excited to be returning as Student Service Director for our district!  

I want to first offer a big Mohawk Mustang welcome to each one of our returning students and families! I look forward to working together with you all again! For those joining us for the first time, please allow me to extend a warm welcome, and also a genuine wish to do my best to connect on anything that might make your transition to our school district more convenient and as stress free as possible. 

My utmost goal for all of us is to facilitate our work together as a part of the greater Marcola community, serving as a leader of a collaborative, interdependent district-wide teams, in order to provide student support services that promote the development of the whole student from entry to progress to completion. My door, ears, mind, and heart are open and fully invested in our mission and commitment to provide services that remove barriers for students of all abilities and ages, while empowering them to develop and apply the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and values necessary to realize their maximum potential.
