The Director of Student Services leads the planning, development and implementation of all K-12 special education programs within the Marcola School District including special education services for TEACH-NW. The Director provides leadership, guidance and direction to support service staff to set and achieve the highest standards of excellence, and provides sound and visionary education programs and student support services for children and families while ensuring compliance with State and Federal Special Education Regulations.

2025-26 Secondary Teacher - APPLICATION PROCESS

The secondary teacher is primarily responsible for effective teaching and learning of the assigned subject(s) following district approved curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. Primary responsibility shall include student safety and appropriate collaboration, and attention to each student’s readiness to learn, including needed guidance, discipline, and welfare. Employee may teach in a variety of secondary educational, individual or team teaching settings.

2025-26 Special Education Facilitator/Teacher - APPLICATION PROCESS

The MSD/TNW SpEd teacher and facilitator is an innovator who inspires and supports the special education needs of MSD students, TNW virtual charter students, parents, and families assigned to them by facilitating an engaging and highly individualized education. The SpEd teacher gives academic and operational support to their parents, learners, and colleagues working directly with SpEd students. SpEd teachers should be positive, caring individuals with excellent organizational skills. They should have stellar verbal and written communication skills. All MSD/TNW SpEd teachers must be self-starters as well as team players, flexible, and sensitive to the needs of others in the program.
